T2 Highpoint: Innovation Meets Immersion

At Sandbox Group, we’ve been lucky enough to work alongside T2 for over fifteen years, shaping and reshaping their store designs as they continue to innovate and evolve. Our latest project, the reimagined T2 Highpoint store, represents the next chapter in this partnership, a space designed to deliver sensory engagement with a modern refined aesthetic.

An Elevated Retail Experience

The T2 Highpoint store is designed to immerse visitors in the world of tea. Every detail has been carefully considered to celebrate T2’s best-selling and seasonal blends, offering a shopping experience that feels intuitive and inspiring.

The exclusive Gift Library streamlines gift gifting purchases and festive shopping with curated selections.

A key highlight of the space is the sensory stations, an interactive feature that reimagines how customers engage with products. These stations encourage exploration through sight, touch, and smell, inviting visitors to connect with the essence of T2 teas.

These interactive elements not only invite customers to engage more deeply but also underscore T2’s focus on innovation and creativity.

Shared Vision

Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, and working with T2 has always been a creative partnership built on trust and shared ambition. As Yu-fu Chen, Property and Procurement Manager at T2 Tea, shares:

"Sandbox showed an incredible ability to listen and truly understand our vision, no matter how abstract or detailed. Their attention to detail is unmatched."

Through thoughtful collaboration, we ensured the Highpoint store was not only visually stunning but also a functional, engaging space that solved design challenges and elevated the customer experience.

Sensory Success: A 30% Boost in Sales

The early results speak volumes about the store's impact. The introduction of new design elements, including sensory activations has resonated strongly with both customers and the T2 team. In its first six days of operation, sales exceeded budget by over 30%, reflecting the success of this immersive retail concept.

Design Evolution: Where Sophistication Meets Energy

The T2 Highpoint store marks a pivotal evolution for the brand. While honoring the much-loved elements of previous designs, this reimagined concept takes a bold step toward sophistication, positioning T2 within a more modern and aspirational retail space.

Key design updates include feature lighting strategically placed to create zones within the retail area. These illuminated focal points enhance navigation, subtly guiding customers through the store while adding depth and atmosphere to the design. This refined approach ensures every corner serves a purpose, blending functionality with a sense of discovery.

While the material palette remains consistent, the layout and design details reflect a shift toward modern minimalism. Clean lines and open displays keep the focus on the products, creating a seamless balance between energy and elegance.

Where Innovation Meets Design

At Sandbox Group, we don’t just design spaces; we craft environments that tell stories. For T2 Highpoint, that story is one of evolution and immersion, where every design decision—from the sensory stations to the feature lighting—aligns with the brand’s vision of modern sophistication.

“Throughout the process, Sandbox was not only professional but also incredibly collaborative, offering suggestions and alternatives that enhanced the overall design, whilst having the foresight to flag risks and recommend solutions along the way.”

The Highpoint store is more than a place to shop—it’s a space that captures the essence of T2, redefining how customers experience tea in a retail setting.
